Princeton, N.J. - Brown completed play at the weather-shortened Princeton Invitational, shooting a 36-hole 613 on rounds of 305-308 at the par-71, 6,424 yard Springdale, Golf Club. The highlight of the tournament for the Bears was a hole-in-one by sophomore Ben Warner.
Duke dominated the tournament and captured the team championship by 34 shots, shooting 274-269—543 to out-pace second place Harvard (577).
The Bears were paced by sophomore Kevin Li, who finished 20th overall with a 36-hole 145 on rounds of 70-75. Junior Chad Carlson and Warner came in at 156, with Carlson shooting 78-78, and Warner 80-76. Warner's hole-in-one came on the par 3, 185 yard 11th hole on the first day of competition.
Freshman Bryan Hong and junior Connor Lynch each posted scores of 158. Hong shot 78-80, while Lynch came in at 79-79.
Coach Mike Hughes squad will compete in the Yale Spring Invitational next Saturday, April 16 at the Yale Golf Club.
