
Women's Golf Finishes 10th At Princeton Invitational

Princeton, N.J. - Brown's women's golf team rallied for a final day 308 to place 10th at the Princeton Invitational, played at the Springdale Golf Club. The Bears shot 320-313-308—941 in the 54-hole event.
All seven Ivy league golf playing schools competed and Columbia (891) captured the team title by two shots over Georgetown (893), followed by Yale (897), Dartmouth (901), host Princeton (902), Penn (906), Rollins (910), Delaware (920), Harvard (923), Brown (941), Princeton B (941) and Lehigh.
Playing at the top of the lineup, junior Christine Kim improved each round for the Bears, shooting 79-75-74—338, to place 20th individually. Sophomore Elizabeth Doykan also turned in three strong rounds with scores of 77-78-76—231.
Bears' junior Sienna Chapman shot 80-80 in her first two rounds and rallied with a solid 74 on Sunday to shoot 234. Freshman Madeleine Garay shot 84-80-84—248, while junior Megan Hauptman shot 96-87-94—277.
Coach Danielle Griffiths' squad will play in the three-day, 54-hole Yale Invitational next week, October 7-9 at the Yale Golf Course.
