
Bears Place 15th at Yale Intercollegiate

New Haven, Ct. - In one of the strongest fields of the 2016 fall season, the Brown women's golf team place 15th at the rain-shortened Yale Fall Intercollegiate, held at the Yale Golf Course. The Bears shot a 36-hole 617 on rounds of 313-304.
Columbia earned the team title with a 36-hole 581, edging Boston College by one shot (582). Host Yale was third (585), followed by Harvard (588), Dartmouth (589), Penn (591), USF (592), Tulsa (592), Princeton (593), Cincinnati (594), Stirling (597), Seton Hall (599), Boston U. (602), Brown (617), Fairleigh Dickinson (621), Xavier (621), South Alabama (629) and Yale B (633).
Junior two-time first team All-Ivy Christine Kim lead the Bears' scorers with rounds of 75-73—148 to place 23rd individually in the 101 player field. Junior Sienna Chapman shot equal rounds of 77 to place 57th individually at 154.
Sophomore Elizabeth Doykan shot 80-76-156 for the Bears, while freshman Madeline Garay came in at 159 on rounds of 81-78—159. Also scoring for Brown was junior Megan Hauptman, who shot 95-88—183.
Brown wraps-up its Fall season at the Landfall Tradition, October 28-30, held at the Landfall CC- Dye Course in Wilmington, North Carolina.
