Women's Golf Completes Play At Lady Paladin Invitational

, SC - The Brown women's golf team completed play in its inaugural tournament of the fall season, finishing 17th at the 44th Lady Paladin Invitational at the par-72, 6,313-yard Furman University Golf Course in Greenville, S.C.
The Bears shot a 54-hole 960 (321, 319, 320). Missouri captured the team championship by eight shots with a three-round 871.
Bears' freshman Sasha Banks excelled in her first collegiate event, shooting 74-76-79—229 to place 43rd individually in the 96-player field. Freshman Elizabeth Doykan also had a strong opening event with rounds of 81-84-76—241.
Sophomore Christine Kim, the defending Ivy League individual champion, shot 82-80-81—243, while sophomore Sienna Chapman shot 84-87-84—255. Bears' junior Julie Lym also scored for the Bears with a 54-hole 258 (86-79-93—258).
Coach Danielle Griffith's squad is back in action again at the Princeton Invitational, October 3-4, in Princeton, New Jersey.
