
Bears Finish Eighth At Ivy League Men's Golf Championship

Bethlehem, PA - Brown had a strong finish with a 299 team score, but it wasn't enough in the final round of the Ivy League Men's Golf Championship par 72, 7,091 yard Saucon Valley Country Club Grace Course. The Bears finished eighth overall with a 54-hole 935 on rounds of 319-317-299.
Penn came from behind to claim the Ivy Championship by one shot (885) over Princeton (886), followed by Harvard (900), Columbia (902), Yale (915), Dartmouth (921), Cornell (929) and Brown (935).
Bears' senior captain Justin Miller (Oakmont, PA) completed his outstanding career with a 20th place finish, shooting a 54-hole 230 on rounds of 79-77-74. Sophomore Chad Carlson (Overland Park, KS) improved each day, shooting 82-78-73—233.
Junior Jack Wilson (Fairfield, CA), who will captain the Bears in 2016, shot 81-79-76—236, while freshman Ben Warner (Weston, MA), playing his first Ivy Championship, came in at 77-83-81—241. Freshman Sam Lafferty (Hollidaysburg, PA), who starred on the Brown hockey team in the winter, shot 83-89-76—248.
