Hagstrom Named Rookie of the Week
Freshman Jack Hagstrom was named the Ivy League Co-Rookie of the Week, earning the award for the second time this season. Hagstrom scored his team-high fourth goal of the season to help the Bears to a 2-1 victory over Columbia in Ivy League opener on Saturday. Facing a one-goal deficit midway through the second half, Hagstrom notched the equalizer off a corner to pave the way for the eventual victory in the team's lone contest of the week. The defender leads the team with eight points this season.
Gorab Named Senior CLASS Candidate
Jack Gorab has been named a candidate for the Senior CLASS Award, which is presented each year to the outstanding senior NCAA Division I Student-Athlete of the Year across ten different sports. To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence – community, classroom, character and competition.
