Men's Golf Completes Play at Hartford Hawk Invitational

South Kent, CT – Freshman Ben Warner paced the Brown men's golf team at the Hartford Hawk Invitational as Brown finished 19th at the 54-hole event played at the par 72, 6900 yards Bull's Bridge Golf Club.
Hartford (874) won the team championship by two shots over Central Florida (876), followed by Connecticut (882), Temple (889), Seton Hall (895), Boston College (902), Rhode Island (905), Bryant (905), Hofstra (905), St. Joseph's (919), Bethune-Cookman (921), Hartford-B (921), Fairfield (922), LIU-Brooklyn (924), UMass-Lowell (938), Sacred Heart (939), Rider (947), Holy Cross (952) and Brown (957).
Warner placed 61st individually on rounds of 81-78-76—235 in the two day event. Sophomore Connor Lynch came in at 240 on rounds of 75-83-82.
Bears' freshman Kevin Li shot 78-81-84—243, while senior captain Justin Miller came in at 79-84-81—244. Sophomore Chad Carlson also scored for the Bears, shooting 83-85-79—247.
Brown is back in action again this weekend, September 27-28, at the Quechee Club Invitational in Quechee, Vermont.
