Women's Golf First at Albany Invitational

Albany, NY – Brown's women's golf team placed first at the Albany Invitational with a team score of 325 at the par-73, 6,000 yard Albany Country Club. Brown won the title by five shots over Albany (330), while also defeating Niagara (336) and Siena (338).
Freshman Christina Kim paced the Bears with a five over 77, while junior Lauren Flynn shot 79. Senior Cassandra Carothers came in at 82.
The highlight of the day was a hole-in-one by Brown sophomore Rosanna Lederhausen, who recorded an ace at the par-3, 130 yard sixteenth hole. Lederhausen posted an 84 for the day.
Freshman Sienna Chapman and senior Stephanie Hsieh each carded an 85.
The Bears will compete at the Yale Intercollegiate, September 26-27, at the Yale Golf Course.
