Women's Golf 7th At Dartmouth Invitational

Hanover, NH - Two Brown freshmen – Christina Kim and Sienna Chapman – led the Bears to a seventh place finish at the 36-hole Dartmouth Invitational, played at the Hanover Country Club. The Bears shot 311-323—634 in the 13-team field.
Boston University captured the team title with a 36-hole 595, followed by Boston College (613), Dartmouth (617), Siena (626), Wagner (631), Williams (633), Brown (634), Fairfield (634), Merrimack (636), Sacred Heart (639), Hartford (654), Quinnipiac (650) and Holy Cross (722).
Playing in their first collegiate competition, Kim shot 76-79—155 to place 14th individually, while Chapman shot 77-79—156 to finish 18th individually.
Junior Lauren Flynn was 37th individually after rounds of 79-82—161. Senior Stephanie Hsieh shot 162 on rounds of 79-83, and sophomore Rosanna Lederhausen carded 80-83—163.
The Bears had two individuals in the tournament, senior Cassandra Carothers, who shot 86-78—164, and junior Juliette Garay, who came in at 172 on rounds of 83-89.
Brown is back in action again at the Albany Invitational, September 21, at the Albany (NY) Country Club.
