PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men's water polo team got four goals on the day from Henry Fox, but it wasn't enough as the Bears dropped contests to UC Irvine and Navy at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center. Brown falls to 1-3 overall at the Bruno Fall Classic after opening with a win over Cal Baptist on Friday.

In game one on Saturday, Fox (Mercer Island, Wash) netted two goals but a 5-0 difference after one quarter proved to be the difference in an 18-6 loss to UC Irvine. Yahel Murvitz-Lahav, Luke Irwin, Tyler Kirchberg, and Rico Burke all added markers against the Anteaters.

In game two against the Mids, Jake Wyatt tallied a goal in overtime but Brown couldn't muster enough to rally in a tough 10-9 loss to Navy. Fox followed his game one performance with another pair of goals while Murvitz-Lahav and Irwin followed suit. Thomas Patterson tallied both of Navy's goals in the extra session to seal the victory.

The Bears return to action tomorrow for the third and final day of the Bruno Fall Classic with matches against Connecticut College (2:15 p.m.) and MIT (4:45 p.m.). Both games can be seen on BrownBears.TV.
