PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown field hockey team looks to rebound at home this weekend with doubleheader action against Lehigh on Sunday and Providence on Monday at Goldberger Family Field.
LAST TIME OUT
Alexis Miller tied the game up early in the second half for the Brown field hockey team, but it wasn't enough as the Bears fell to Quinnipiac, 3-1, on Wednesday afternoon at the QU Turf Complex.
THE SERIES HISTORY – LEHIGH
The teams have split their two all-time meetings, with Brown claiming a 4-1 victory in the last time out on Sept. 17, 2006.
SCOUTING THE MOUNTAIN HAWKS
Leading scorer Gabby Tofig is the one to watch for Lehigh as she paces the Mountain Hawks with seven goals while Lindsey Schott has chipped in with 11 points on four goals and three assists. Julia Ward has started all 12 games, posting a 3.29 goals-against average and .708 save percentage while making 85 saves.
THE SERIES HISTORY – PROVIDENCE
Monday marks the 33rd meeting all-time between the Bears and Friars. Providence holds a 21-9-2 record in the series dating back to 1982.

Providence boasts three players with at least 20 points this season, led by Megan Hamilton who ranks second in the Big East with 10 goals, just one ahead of teammate Daniella Bernasconi, who has chipped in with nine tallies. Diedra Clymer has played in all but 17:45 of play this season, recording an impressive 1.91 goals-against average.

O'DONNELL TABBED IVY LEAGUE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
For her three-goal, nine-point effort over two games last weekend, Meghan O'Donnell earned Ivy League Player of the Week honors for the second time this season.
MILLER SCORES AGAIN
Alexis Miller tallied her fourth goal of the season on Wednesday at Quinnipiac, rising to second place on the team with eight points.
ANGUS GETS ON THE BOARD
Sophomore defender Katarina Angus (West Vancouver, B.C.) notched her first goal of the season on Sunday against Siena and also connected with Meghan O'Donnell on two home-run passes that turned into goals in each game this weekend.
SUDDEN DEATH THRILLER
Jaclyn Torres (Andover, Mass.) sent the Brown faithful home happy on Saturday with a double overtime strike against Ivy foe, Harvard. After Hannah Rogers (Los Altos, Calif.) knotted the game with just 31 seconds remaining in regulation, Torres buried a point-blank shot past Harvard goalkeeper Issy Davies with 9:20 left in the second overtime period.

EXTRA TIME VS. HARVARD
The Bears have defeated the Crimson in overtime in two consecutive contests, also claiming a 2-1 win at Harvard on Oct. 5, 2013.
