
Field Hockey Plays Host to Holy Cross on Wednesday (4 P.M.)

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – After a 6-2 defeat at the hands of reigning national champion, No. 9 Princeton, the Brown field hockey team (5-7, 1-3 Ivy) looks to get back into the win column against Holy Cross (4-10, 0-4 Patriot League) on Wednesday. The Bears and Crusaders will battle on Goldberger Family Field at 4 p.m.

SCOUTING THE CRUSADERS
Holy Cross looks to rebound from a 4-0 loss at Lafayette on Saturday. The Crusaders find themselves sixth in the Patriot League standings ahead of seventh place Lehigh with three games remaining in their regular season.
SERIES HISTORY
Brown owns an 18-10 record in the all-time series between the two schools and is in the midst of a five game winning streak against Holy Cross dating back to 2008. Holy Cross last defeated the Bears on Oct. 24, 2007 with a 3-2 overtime victory in Providence.
LAST TIME OUT
The Bears got two second half goals from leading scorer Meghan O'Donnell (Winchester, Mass.) but it wasn't enough as No. 9 Princeton left Goldberger Family Field with a 6-2 win on Saturday. Julia Reinprecht and Michelle Cesan each netted two goals while Christina Malda turned away two of four shots faced for the visiting Tigers.
