
Brown Men's Squash Tops Bates, Falls to Bowdoin, 5-4

Providence, R.I. – Brown returned home to face Bates and Bowdoin on Sunday and earned a split with the two Maine teams. The Bears, now 6-5 overall, toppled Bates by a 5-4 margin, and fell to Bowdoin by the same score.
Brown's hard fought win over Bates was led by freshman Oliver Booth, who earned a 3-0 win at number two. Senior Eamon O'Conner fought from two games down to earn a 3-2 come-from-behind win at number three, capturing the last game, 12-10.
Senior Chris Holter, who also earned a win over Bowdoin, cruised to a 3-0 victory vs. Bates at number five and freshman Michael Snower came through at number six, 3-1. Brown's final win vs. Bates was at number nine with Alex Hsu taking a 3-1 decision. Hsu also captured a win over Bowdoin.
Brown hosts Penn on Saturday, February 2 at 1 pm, and will be home again on Sunday, February 3 vs. Princeton at 2:30 pm, and George Washington at 6:30 pm.
