Galloway, New Jersey - After 36-holes at the Ivy League Golf Championship, Brown stands in sixth place with a two-round 634 on rounds of 318-316 under wet and windy conditions at the par-72 Galloway National Golf Club.
With 18 holes remaining, Penn leads the tournament at 619, followed by Yale (620), Columbia (626), Princeton (626), Dartmouth (629), Brown (634), Harvard (634) and Cornell (647).
Brown senior captain Michael Amato is still in contention for medalist honors, shooting 78 for a 36-hole 152, good for fourth place individually in the 40-player field. Sophomore Jack Mylott shot a team best 77 on Saturday and stands at 159 through two rounds, 17th individually.
Sophomore JD came in at 79 in round two and is 20th individually at 160. Freshman peter Callas shot 82 and is at 163 through two rounds, while Kyohei itamura shot 84 for a 36-hole 167.
The race for medalist honors could be just as dramatic as the one for the team title as just seven strokes separate the top-11 players on the leader board. The 2011 Championship concludes on Easter Sunday, starting at 7:30 a.m.
