
Brown Wrestling vs. No. 1 Cornell Live on ESPN Radio, Friday at 3 p.m.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - After hosting No. 7 Rutgers in their last home appearance at the Pizzitola Sports Center, the Brown wrestling team will host No. 1 Cornell, live online on ESPN Radio 1160AM Ithaca. Head coach Dave Amato, fresh off his 300th at Brown University, leads the squad against the NCAA-best Big Red.
- Amato's 300th victory came against Harvard on February 12. It was the 361st win of his career.
Brown hosts No. 1 Cornell and Sacred Heart on Friday, February 18th, before taking on Columbia and Bucknell on Saturday, February 19th. It will be the final home meets for the Bears this season.
This weekend will also serve as the team's Alumni and Family Weekend. All alumni, family, friends and fans of the Brown wrestling team are encouraged to come out the Pizzitola Center on each day to support the Bears.
Friday's action begins at 1 p.m. with Sacred Heart. Brown and No. 1 Cornell are scheduled to begin battle at 3 p.m. Saturday's match against Bucknell will begin at 11:30 a.m.
Brown also takes on Ivy League rival Columbia at 2 p.m. on Saturday to cap off a full weekend of wrestling.

The Bears picked up their first win of the season last weekend against the Crimson, but the schedule does not get an easier as the Big Red roll into the Pitz. The Cornell lineup features eight wrestlers that are ranked in top 11 in their respective weight classes.
