
Water Polo Defeats Fordham, 18-7

Boston, MA- Led by junior Svetozar Stefanovic's seven goals, six steals and two assists, the Brown men's water polo team cruised to an 18-7 victory over Fordham on Saturday afternoon in a game hosted at Harvard's Blodgett Pool.
The Bears jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the first quarter, and went on to shut out the Rams in the second to extend their lead to 10-1 at the intermission. Brown continued to roll in the third outscoring Fordham 5-3, and in the fourth, both squads knocked in three goals as the Bears secured the 18-7 win.
Also scoring for Bruno was James McNamara with four goals, and Chris Culin and Cyrus Mojdehi each tallied two. Also chipping in was Henry Fox, Dean Serure and Nick Deaver with one each. Leading the defense was Walker Shockley with 10 saves, while freshman Andrew Brown had two. Michael Hartwick and McNamara also had four steals each, while McNamara also handed out three assists.
