
Bears 13th After Day One of Navy Invitational

Following the first day of competition at the Navy Invitational, the Brown men's golf team stands in 13th place after shooting 306. Delaware leads the field with a sizzling 274, eight shots in front of second place Towson.
The Bears were paced by senior captain Michael Amato and sophomore JD Ardell, who each carded five over 76 in the opening round. Sophomore Jack Mylot and freshman Peter Callas were right behind at 77. Freshman Kyohei Itamura shot 83 in his collegiate debut.
The tournament will be concluded on Sunday with tee-off at 8:30 a.m.
