Bears 5th Heading Into Final Round of Roar-ee Invitational

Suffern, NY - After the first round of the 15-team Roar-ee Invitational, hosted by Columbia University, Brown stands in fifth place following a first round 316 at the Spook Rock Country Club. Harvard leads the tournament by six shots with a first day 300.
Sophomore Heather Arison shot 78 to lead the Bears and place 22nd individually after day one of competition. Following close behind are sophomores Carly Arison and Megan Tuohy, who each shot 79, good for 27th place individually.
Junior captain Susan Restrepo and junior Sarah Guarascio each came in at 80, while freshman Claire Straty shot 86.
Brown's first tee-off time on Saturday, April 17, is at 1:06 pm, playing with Columbia and Fairleigh Dickinson.
