
Buddy Farnham '10 Named AP All-American

Providence, Rhode Island - Brown senior wide receiver Buddy Farnham, the Ivy League and New England Player of the Year, has
been named a second team Associated Press All-American.
One of the top wide receivers in the nation for the past four
years, Farnham completed the 2009 season with 1,003 receiving
yards, the eight receiver in Brown history to go over 1,000 yards.
His 100.3 receiving yards per game rank fifth in the nation, while
his 74 receptions (7.4 per game) in 2009 rank eighth
nationally.
He is a three-time first team All-Ivy and All-New England selection
and the fourth player in Brown football history to be named the Ivy
League Player of the Year. He recently won the New England Football
Writers' Gold Helmet of the Year, and the Boston Gridiron
Club Bulger Lowe Award, the New England Heisman Trophy.
Farnham name permeates the Brown record book. He made 229 career
receptions, sixth in the Ivy record book, while his 2,895 career
yards are seventh all time in Ivy football history. Farnham's
4,813 all-purpose yards rank seventh in the Ivy record book.
