Great student, great athlete, great leader! These are all qualities that describe Paris Waterman Dupree. An Academic All-Ivy (2010) and two-time IWLCA Academic honoree, Paris excelled on Stevenson-Pincince Field for Brown Women’s Lacrosse. Dupree competed as a dual-sport athlete for women’s lacrosse and basketball as a first-year.
Paris garnered first-team All-Ivy honors and IWLCA Northeast Region team accolades twice (2010 and 2011). Her name remains in the Brown record book, and she has had top-25 career performances in multiple statistical categories.
In 2010, Dupree was named to the US Women’s National Team, becoming the first Brown player to be selected for the team since Kerri Whitaker ‘96. Described as a “leader on the field,” Paris captained the 2011 team.
After graduating from Brown in 2011 with a degree in Organizational Studies: Commerce, Organizations, and Entrepreneurship, Dupree attended George Washington University Law School and graduated in 2015.
Dupree serves on Brown’s President’s Advisory Council on Athletics and Recreation, which considers long-term policy and planning issues, strategic directions, and the efficacy of implementation regarding athletic and recreation programs and their relationship to the university’s overall educational mission.
She is currently the vice president and assistant general counsel for sports, entertainment, media, and brand for JPMorgan Chase (JPMC).
Dupree leads and negotiates deals for JPMC’s Sports, Entertainment, Media, and Brand lines. Before joining JPMC, Dupree was a corporate associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, Pepper Hamilton LLP (now Troutman Pepper LLP) in Philadelphia, and Cooley LLP in Washington, DC.
