Meister-Kavan Field

Located directly behind the Olney-Margolies Athletic Center, Meister-Kavan Field served as a practice facility for various varsity teams. The field also played host to many of Brown's intramural and club sport events until it closed in the spring of 2024 to make way for a new indoor turf facility.
Originally a grass field, the facility was transformed due to the generosity of the families of Stephen Meister '76, and William Kavan '72 and others. FieldTurf was installed, making the field more functional for the Brown community as a whole. The renovations also included the installation of a Daktronics scoreboard system and bleacher seating.
