Marvel Field

In spring 2003 the venerable Marvel Gymnasium was finally demolished and a new multi-purpose field constructed. The focus of the field project was the development of a regulation-sized rugby field with permanent goal posts. The men's and women's programs have priority field use for both practices and games. The women's team took to the field as a varsity program beginning with the 2014-15 academic year.

This space provides a home to the nearly 100 student-athletes who compete on Brown's popular rugby teams. The fields are also used for other club and intramural athletic activities such as Ultimate Frisbee.
