Men's Tennis Announces Two Newcomers to Roster

Brown Head Men's Tennis Coach Alex Kasarov has announced the two newcomers to the roster.
The additions to the program are junior transfer Tim Dzhurinskiy and freshman James Lian.
“We eagerly anticipate the arrival of Tim and James on campus as part of our Fall 2023 recruiting class,” said Kasarov. "Tim and James are exceptional talents, and we look forward to their active participation on the court as we embark on this journey together. Our expectations are high regarding their growth as individuals of integrity, academically, and as formidable competitors on the court."

Tim Dzhurinskiy
Manhattan Beach, Calif. | University of Wisconsin / Mira Costa High School
- Transfer from the University of Wisconsin
- Posted a 14-10 singles record in 2022, tied for the team lead in wins
- Tallied eight doubles wins in 2022
- Finished with four singles victories and 10 doubles wins in 2021
- Totaled 36 wins in two seasons at Wisconsin

James Lian

- Top 50 in the nation for class of 2023 according to TennisRecruiting (Five Star Recruit)
- No. 1 in New Jersey for Class of 2023 according to TennisRecruiting
