
Baseball Announces 11 New Additions to the Class of 2026

Brown Baseball Head Coaching Chair Grant Achilles has announced the Bear's 11-member incoming class of 2026. The new Bears joining the squad for the 2023 season include Stiles Begnaud, DJ Dillehay, Peter Dubie, Ty Harris, Mark Henshon, Christian Keel, Logan Meusy, Mika Petersen, Carter Rasmussen, Dylan Reid, and Zack Siegal.
“The class of 2026 adds invaluable depth and athleticism, while building on our principles of Brotherhood, Integrity, and Gratitude," Achilles said. "Each player brings a unique skill set, and will elevate our program this fall and during their four years on College Hill.”

Before Brown: Competed athletically for Westhill High School…2022 Perfect Game Northeast Region Preseason All-America Honorable Mention…2022 First Team All-FCIAC selection, helping Westhill to finish runner-up in the conference…2021 Second Team All-FCIAC West honoree, helping Westhill to the Class LL state championship game…2022 FCIAC Exemplary Scholar Athlete and recipient of the Fairfield County Association of Secondary School Principals Scholar Leader Award…National Honor Society and National Science Honor Society member.

Also being able to continue playing baseball in college for Coach Achilles and his staff is a great opportunity. The convenience of the athletic facilities being located nearby on campus also is a huge benefit.”

Personal: Son of Aubrey and Russ Meusy…Has two siblings, Haley and Dalton.

Before Brown: Team captain in baseball, basketball and cross country at Roxbury Latin…Posted a .479/.600/1.496 slash line with 23 runs and 15 extra base hits in 16 games as a senior in 2022…Earned All-ISL and All-NEBJ First Team honors as a senior in 2022…Also earned All-ISL and All-New England honors in basketball during his senior season…Three-time All-ISL and All-New England honoree in cross country…Received the Johnny Pesky Teammate Award…Member of the Cum Laude Society…Class of 1913 Award recipient for significant contributions to Roxbury Latin.
Personal: Son of Amanda and Matt Henshon…Has two brothers, Will and James…His father, Matt, played basketball for Princeton from 1987-91.

Before Brown: 2022 Texas District 6-5A Pitcher of the Year…Finished his senior season with a 10-0 record with two saves, a 1.60 ERA, limited opponents to a .208 batting average, struck out a school-record 94 batters and allowed just 50 hits over 67.2 IP…Broke Northwest High School’s single season strikeout record (94) in 2022, surpassing the marks held by his own pitching coach Jared Henke, and current LA Dodgers pitcher, Dustin May…Earned Performance Course High School Player of the Week honors on May 9, 2022 after breaking the school’s single-season strikeout record…Texas All-State Academic Elite Team honoree…National Merit Scholar Finalist…2021 Northwest High School Flagship Student of the Year…Graduated in the top 10 of his class.

Personal: Son of Jackie and Bippy Siegal…Has two sisters, Gabi, who graduated from Harvard, and Dani, a member of Brown’s Class of 2024…His mother, Jackie, graduated from Penn…His uncle, Derrick Beare, was a member of Manchester United’s reserve squad.

Personal: Son of Mindy Zatto…Has two older brothers, Tyler and Justin…His brother Justin played baseball at Belmont-Abbey ’22…His relative Rocco Reid plays baseball at Clemson…His mother, Mindy, is a member of Harvard’s Class of 1987.

Personal: Son of Yuka Kaneda and John Begnaud…Has one sibling, Mel.

Why Brown?: “I chose Brown because attending Brown not only means I get to play high-level sports, but I also get a world class education. It was my goal for a long time to play high-level baseball along with high-level academics. Brown is the best of both worlds.”

Before Brown: Earned all-district and academic all-state honors…Graduated magna cum laude from The Woodlands High School.
