
Hagstrom Tabbed Ivy League Men's Soccer Co-Rookie of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Freshman Jack Hagstrom (Middleton, Wis.) of the Brown men's soccer team has been named the Ivy League Co-Rookie of the Week for the second time this season, announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Hagstrom scored his team-high fourth goal of the season to help the Bears to a 2-1 victory over Columbia in Ivy League opener on Saturday. Facing a one-goal deficit midway through the second half, Hagstrom notched the equalizer off a corner to pave the way for the eventual victory in the team's lone contest of the week. The defender leads the team with eight points this season.
This is the second Ivy Rookie of the Week honor for Hagstrom this season. He previously earned the accolade on Sept. 14 after a scoring the game-winning goal at Providence College.

Brown kicks off a three-game homestand on Tuesday, Oct. 6 when the Bears host Boston College at 7 p.m.
