New London, CT - Behind senior Diana Livermore's (Menlo Park, CA) nine goals the Bears (13-10) went 2-0, in the opening day of the Northern Championships at Connecticut College, cruising past Utica 15-1 and Harvard 12-8.
The Bears opened up the day, facing Utica. Harvard came firing back, tying the score a short time later, but Livermore netted her first of three goals to put Brown up 2-1. The match was a see-saw battle until just before halftime, when Wyatt scored her first goal of the game, giving the Bears a 5-3 lead going into the break. Brown ran away with the game in the fourth quarter scoring four goals for a 9-6 lead. Wyatt finished the match-up with three goals, three assists, four steals and drew two ejections. Also getting three goals was sophomore Karlyanna Kopra (Kamuela, HI) while Blaxberg recorded a goal in the victory. Deggelman posted four blocks in net for Brown.
