#18 Women's Water Polo Falls to #1 UCLA, 12-1

Los Angeles, CA - The women's water polo team, ranked 18th in the country, fell to 8-4 on the season, with a 12-1 loss to UCLA in California, closing out their spring break trip.
The Bruins scored 10 goals in the first three quarters before Brown got on the board early in the fourth quarter on a goal by sophomore Diana Livermore (Menlo Park, CA). Livermore also led Brown with two drawn kick-outs, while junior Sonia Lamel (Lafayette, CA) and senior Tori Barbata (Kailua, HI) each added one drawn kick-out.
In net, junior Keira Heggie (Miami, FL) stopped 12 shots for Brown. The Bears continue action on March 29, when they host Connecticut College and Harvard in a league Tournament at the Smith Swim Center. Brown plays Connecticut College in the first game at 1:00 p.m.
