Brown narrowed the gap as the clock wound down, pulling within one when the team scored its first goal of the game with 1:16 left to play, but Hartwick responded immediately, notching another tally to earn a 3-1 advantage going into the second quarter. The Hawks dominated the second stanza, outscoring the Bears 8-1, and, while Brown scored twice in the early part of the third quarter, the team was not able to recover, falling to Hartwick, 18-7. Brown was able to match goals with Wagner in the second, but the Seahawks would go on to outscore the Bears, 3-1, in the third to put the game away.  Freshman Olivia Santiago (Los Altos, CA) had a goal, an assist, and two steals in the contest, while Woods, sophomore Madison Pepper (Baytown, TX), Presant and sophomore Liz Rosen (San Anselmo, CA) each had one tally. Shin made three saves in the cage.

Brown will head to Princeton, New Jersey at the end of the week for a game against the Princeton Tigers on Friday, February 22. Action will begin at 8:00pm.
