The Bears went on a 3-0 run halfway through the contest however, holding the Bison scoreless for over eight minutes to play their way back into the game. Rosen almost scored the Bears' 10th goal with less than a minute to go, but she was denied by Rena Heim in the Bison net, and the home team would hold on for the win. The 10-9 loss is Brown's fourth one-goal defeat of the young season. Offensively, the Bears were paced by Woods, who had 4 tallies in the game, as well as Rosen and Pepper, who each added two goals. Junior Sarah Presant (Poway, CA) also scored a goal, while adding four steals. Shin had two saves in the cage for the Bears in her second game of the afternoon.

Brown will return to the pool on Sunday, February 17, to play its final two games in the Bucknell Invite. The team will take on the Hartwick Hawks at 9:10am before squaring off against Wagner Seahawks at 1:50pm.
