Providence, RI- Senior two-meter defender Joanna Wohlmuth and freshman attacker Kate Woods each earned ACWPC (Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches) Honorable Mention All-American honors.
Wohlmuth, a Collegiate Water Polo Association Second Team All-South selection, ended her senior season with 40 goals and a team-high 100 ejections drawn. Last year, Woods earned First Team All-North honors after scoring 36 goals and leading the team with 72 ejections drawn.
Woods had a stellar rookie season for the Bears pouring in 100 goals, the most any freshman has ever scored in a single season. Woods was a six-time weekly award winner in the CWPA during the 2011 campaign, as she notched the April 4 and April 25 Southern Division Player of the Week prizes, along with the Feb. 28, March 28, April 25 Southern Division Rookie of the Week awards.
