Providence, R.I. - Fresh off her Ivy League Player of the Week Award, Brown senior setter Natalie Meyers (Seal Beach, CA) has been named the ECAC's Player of the Week for her tremendous play in pacing Bruno to an undefeated week of play.
Meyers led the Bears to a 4-0 mark and the Brown Invitational title this week while tallying 156 assists and 36 digs en route to All-Tournament honors. Her week was highlighted by a 52-assist performance against Stony Brook, while also notching a team-high 19 digs. Meyers helped Brown hit .421 in a win over Bryant as she dished out 40 assists.
Meyers has been a key part of the Brown volleyball team since her freshman year, when she finished second on the team in assists. As a sophomore she assumed the starting job as setter, which she has excelled at ever since, and was named to the honorable mention all-Ivy team last season.
The Bears will be in action again this weekend as they travel to compete in the Stony Brook Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
