Volleyball drops 3-0 Decision to Cornell

The Big Red (15-9, 7-5) proved too much for the Bears, winning in three games, (30-19, 30-24, 31-29).

Brown struggled in the first game, recording a -.093 hitting percentage to Cornell's .239. Sophomore Debbie Quibell (Atlanta, Ga.) posted her second consecutive double-double and Cornell held the hot-hitting Bears to a -.007 hitting percentage. The Big Red blocked a season-high 17 attacks in the three games.

Jessie Cooper led Brown (14-10, 9-3) with 10 kills and four blocks, but also hit just .077. Angela Dunn chipped in with nine kills and Aneal Helms had six kills.

The Bears fall to 14-10 overall and 9-3 in the Ivy League.
