Princeton, NJ - Senior co-captain Shawn-Elyse Tulac (Claremont, CA) had 17 kills as the Brown volleyball team (8-16, 4-8) dropped its fourth consecutive Ivy League match on Saturday, falling 3-0 to Princeton. The Tigers, who improved to 19-2 on the season and 9-2 in the Ivy League, won by scores of 30-22, 30-28, and 30-20.
Tulac's 17 kills were a match high, putting her over 300 kills for the season. She also had three blocks. Senior Rikki Baldwin (Magnolia, TX) also had double-digits with 10 kills. Junior libero Katie Lapinski (Niles, IL) led the team with 12 digs to go with three service aces. Middle blockers Julie Mandolini-Trummel (Crystal Lake, IL) and Jessica Kondrick (San Diego, CA) each had four blocks.
Next weekend, the Bears will end their season with two home matches. Friday night will bring Harvard to the Pizzitola Center, then Dartmouth will come to the Pitz for Brown's Senior Day.
