Brown Defeats Dartmouth

The Brown University Volleyball Team defeated Dartmouth College in four games. The Bears won the first two games 30-19 and 30-22. The Big Green took the third game 32-30, but the fourth game went to the Bears 30-27.

Brown senior Angela Dunn (Katy, TX) recorded her 1,000th career kill as she accumulated 28 kills in today's match. Dunn also added 14 digs for a double double. Bears senior Jessie Cooper (Tustin, CA) recorded 12 kills upping her total to 1,083, she is now 16 kills away from being second all time at Brown.

Senior Ceneca Calvert (Irvine, CA) recorded 15 digs and is now fourth in career digs at Brown with 969. Freshmen Karalyn Kuchenbecker added 11 digs in only two games and Lauren Gibbs (Los Angeles, CA) contributed 10 kills. Junior Kim Highlund added 15 digs in the victory.

The Bears are now 8-13 overall and 4-5 in the Ivy League with five Ivy League matches left on the season. They will host both Columbia and Cornell this weekend in the Pizzitola Gym.
