Princeton, NJ - After a tough 33-31 game one loss, the Bears (6-11, 3-3) could not get going offensively, falling to the Tigers 30-16 and 30-17 in the following two games, as they were swept by Princeton, 3-0, in an Ivy League match-up this evening.
Senior Lauren Gibbs (Los Angeles, CA) led the Bears offensively tallying eight kills, while sophomore Julie Mandolini-Trummel (Crystal Lake, IL) put down six kills in the loss. Senior Leigh Martin (Freelton, ONT) recorded 23 assists in this evening's match.
Defensively, sophomore Katie Lapinski (Niles, IL) posted 12 digs, while Madonlini-Trummel gave the Tiger hitters problems for most of the evening, blocking five attacks.
The Bears will travel to Philadelphia, PA to take on the Quakers, Saturday October 22, for a 4:00 PM Ivy League match-up.
