It was short and sweet when the Brown Volleyball team battled Dartmouth College on Friday night at Pizzitola Center. The Bears defeated the Big Green in three games, (30-24, 30-22, 30-13), and currently stand undefeated in Ivy League play.
The Bears came out in the first game with a clear agenda, to smother the Dartmouth defense. Brown totaled a .375 hitting % in game one, while Aneal Helms recorded a perfect 1.00% and five kills. Jessie Cooper posted a .500% with seven kills. The second game was more of the same, a continued onslaught by the Bear attack, as the team tallied a .444 %.
For Dartmouth (6-7), (1-2) Anna Jenkins recorded seven kills and five digs on the match. Chelsea Morgan posted 18 assists.
With the win, the Bears improve to 8-7, 3-0 and are back on the court on Saturday October 13, where the team will compete against the Harvard Crimson. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m.
