A former All-Ivy libero and setter for the Brown volleyball team, Annika Gliottone returns to College Hill as an assistant coach for the 2014 season.
In 2014, Gliottone helped the Bears finish in the top half of the Ivy League for the second consecutive season behind a 7-7 record in conference play. She also aided starting libero Kathryn Conner ’15 in earning All-Ivy honors.
As a member of the Bears, Gliottone earned All-Ivy Honorable Mention accolades in 2011, finishing fourth in the Ivy League in digs per set (5.07). She led the team in digs and aces as a junior and senior while concluding her career ranked second in the Brown record books for career digs per set (4.12).
Gliottone served as an assistant coach with the Johnson and Wales volleyball team for the 2013 season, leading the Wildcats to an 8-4 Great Northeast Athletic Conference record and a trip to the GNAC semifinals. Gliottone helped mentor three All-GNAC players, including GNAC Defensive Player of the Year Giselle Cram Ortiz.
A 2012 graduate of Brown with a concentration in human biology, Gliottone resides in Warwick, R.I.
