PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown University's 2013 recruiting class received a High Honorable Mention honor in the annual recruiting list recently released by PrepVolleyball.com. The six-member class received a top-60 ranking in a field of over 330 Division I volleyball programs and was placed in the same Honorable Mention group as perennial powers Notre Dame, Alabama and Connecticut.

Brown's Class of 2017 includes Stephanie Kellogg (Los Altos, Calif.), Sarah Lucenti (Manhattan Beach, Calif.), Clare Olivares (Manhattan Beach, Calif.), Payton Smith (Atherton, Calif.), Emma Thygesen (Menlo Park, Calif.) and Carly Wagenbach (Hermosa Beach, Calif.).

"We have been working on this class for the last couple years, they all have the ability to make an immediate impact," said head coach Diane Short. "Not only are they great players, but they are great people."

The incoming freshmen class includes two middle blockers, two outside hitters and two setters, while all six student-athletes hail from the state of California. For more information on the incoming class, click HERE.
