Before Brown: A four-year member of the track & field team at Rosemont High School … Served as team captain during her junior and senior seasons and was the Metropolitan League Champion in the long jump for three consecutive years (2007-2009) and in the triple jump (2010) … Was also the Sectional/Divisional Champion in the triple jump during her senior year and was a state qualifier in the long jump … Earned the National Scholar Athlete Award in 2010.
