PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Brown University men's and women's track & field teams both earned 2011 Division I All-Academic Honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), awarded to teams with a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or better in the spring of 2011. The women's team tied for 12th out of 164 teams with a cumulative GPA of 3.42, the men's team tied for 22nd out of 90 teams with a 3.23 GPA.
On the women's side, Princeton led all divisions of NCAA track & field teams with a team GPA of 3.68 in the spring 2011 semester, with Iona and Santa Clara at second and third. For the men, University of Richmond was first with a 3.51 team GPA, followed by Harvard and Duke.
All eight women's and seven men's teams from the Ivy League received All-Academic Honors.
