2010 Outdoor Track & Field: The outdoor season got progressively better for Smith, who was throwing PR after PR for several meets ... The highlight of her outdoor season was at the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships at Princeton, where Smith won the hammer and broke the Ivy League hammer record with a toss of 199'8" ... Also placed second in the shotput with a throw of 51'3", a season record ... Smith's hammer performance at the NCAA Regional meet qualified her for the NCAA Nationals in Eugene, Oregon where she placed 18th overall.

2009-10 Indoor Track & Field: Smith had a strong start to the season at the Alden Invitational, with a school record-breaking throw of 60'6" in the weight throw ... Despite a disappointing performance at Indoor HEPS in the weight throw, she finished in second place behind teammate Danielle Grunloh in the shoput ... Her toss of 50'10" qualified her provisionally for the NCAA Indoor Nationals.

In 2008-09: She went on to set an indoor season best at the Alden Invitational with a throw of 48'6" in the shot put ... In the weight throw she set a personal best of 53'8" at Indoor Heps, which earned her 3rd place..Also recieved 2nd place in the shotput... Outdoors, Brynn had a tremendous season in the hammer, throwing a personal best of 187'9"...At Outdoor Heps she placed 1st in both the shotput and hammer... In the post season, she threw both the shot and hammer at the NCAA Regional Meet at North Carolina A&T, placing 5th in the hammer, which qualified her for nationals...Placed 18th nationally at the NCAA National meet in Fayetteville, Arkansas ... Brynn was also selected as a USTFCCCA Academic All American.

2007-08: Made her collegiate debut at the Alden Invitational ... She went on to set an indoor season best at the Harvard Invitational with a throw of 46'6'' in the shot put ... In the weight throw she set indoor season best at New England Championships with a throw of 51'1'' and went on to place 6th at Indoor Heps... Outdoors Brynn set a personal best at the Brown Invitational in the hammer with a throw of 156'7''. At outdoor Heps she placed 4th in the shot with a new PR and NCAA Regional qualifying mark of 47'7'' ... In the post season, she threw another personal best of 51'10'' in the shot at the NCAA Regional Meet at Florida State, placing 4th... Her 4th place finish qualified her for NCAA Nationals where she took 23rd place.

High School: A graduate of Thornton Academy, Smith was the 2006-2007 Maine Indoor and Outdoor Shot Put Champion . . . That same year, she was the Maine's runner-up in the discus . . . In 2007, Smith was a New England runner-up in the shot put . . . Has personal bests of a 41'3 in the shot put, and a 128'9 in the discus.
