High School: Lauren began running track in 9th grade. She placed 8th in the California DIV cross country state meet in 2006 ... In 2006, she was the San Diego Cross Country All-Academic Girls Team Captain and was also the Coastal Conference League Champion in 2005 and 2006 ... She currently holds her school record in the two-mile with a time of 11:11.
