Two Bears Earn All-Ivy Honors

PROVIDENCE, RI - Senior Michelle Pautler (Kamuela, HI) and sophomore Sara Mansur (Houston, TX) of the women's tennis team have been named 2007 All-Ivy. Pautler earned Second Team honors in singles and also earned Honorable Mention All-Ivy in doubles with Mansur.
After battling through injuries last season, Pautler came back strong this year earning an East Regional ranking of #29 at the conclusion of the fall season. She was 15-12 overall in singles action, posting a 6-8 combined record at the top two positions, including a 2-4 mark at #1 singles in Ivy play. Pautler also amassed 11 total doubles wins for 26 combined victories on the year. Highlighting her season was a three-set win over #119 Hannah Grady of Long Beach State.
In doubles action, Pautler and Mansur played #1 for the entire season, where they went 8-10, including 3-4 in the Ivy League.
In four years, Pautler won 51 singles matches and 39 doubles matches for 90 combined wins. In her first two years with the Bears, Mansur has already won 26 singles matches and16 singles matches for 42 combined wins.
