Bears Fall to #18 Harvard, 7-0

CAMBRIDGE, MA - The Brown women's tennis team (5-12, 1-5) dropped a 7-0 decision to #18 Harvard on Sunday afternoon. Harvard won the doubles point, earning two of the three matches, and won all six singles matches for the 7-0 shutout.

Brown's lone win came at #3 doubles, where junior Daisy Ames (Atlanta, GA) and freshman Brett Finkelstein (North Caldwell, NJ) picked up an 8-4 win.

Junior Michelle Pautler (Kamuela, HI) lost a three-set match at #6 singles, forcing a third set with a 6-4 win in the second, but lost the third set, played as a tiebreaker, 11-9.

The Bears close out the season Wednesday afternoon in a 3:00 match at Yale.
