Bears Fall to Dartmouth, 5-2

HANOVER, NH - The Brown women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Dartmouth on Friday afternoon in its final road match of the season. Freshman Kelley Kirkpatrick (Villanova, PA) led Brown with wins at #3 doubles and #6 singles.

The Big Green picked up the doubles point with wins at #1 and #2, but the Bears managed a win at #3 doubles with Kirkpatrick and classmate Ashley Pariser (Alexandria, VA) earning an 8-6 win.

Kirkpatrick also posted a win in singles action, with a 5-7, 6-1, 1-0 win at #6, while freshman Anita Ivancevic (Delray Beach, FL) earned the other singles victory at #3, winning, 6-3, 6-4.

The Bears continue action on Sunday, April 24, when they host Harvard at 12:00 noon.
