Women's Tennis Falls to #44 Penn, 5-2

The women's tennis team fell to 11-7 on the season and 0-2 in the Ivy League on Friday afternoon. The Bears put up a hard-fought battle against the Quakers, losing at #2 and #3 doubles by an 8-6 score.

In singles action, the Bears were victorious at #4, as sophomore Alex Arlak (Leonia, NJ) won for Brown. Freshman Kim Singer (Newport Beach, CA) also earned a win for the Bears, defeating her opponent at #5 singles.

Brown continues action on Saturday, April 12, facing Princeton at 12:00 noon in New Jersey.
