Bears Fall to #22 Clemson, 6-1

PROVIDENCE, RI - #22 Clemson swept the doubles point and earned straight-set wins in four of the six singles matches to earn a 6-1 victory over the Brown women's tennis team (3-6) on Sunday, March 5, at the Pizzitola Center.

Brown's lone win came at #6 singles, where junior Kara Zeder (Miami, FL) picked up a 6-2, 6-3 win. Freshman Brett Finkelstein (North Caldwell, NJ) put up a good fight at #5 singles, winning the first set, 6-4, before falling in the next two, 7-5 and 11-9.

The Bears continue action on March 22nd, when they host UConn at 3:00 p.m.
