#75 Women's Tennis Wins Third Straight, Defeating Seton Hall, 6-1

The Brown women's tennis team (3-2) won its third straight contest, defeating Seton Hall, 6-1, on Saturday afternoon.

Freshman Daisy Ames (Atlanta, GA) and Amanda Saiontz (Miami, FL) led the way for Brown with a win at #3 doubles (8-4) and wins at their respective singles spots. Saiontz won a 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 decision at #3 singles, while Ames won a 6-1, 7-5 decision at #6.

The Bears swept the singles matches today with sophomore Stephanie Falconi (New York, NY) taking a 6-0, 6-3 win at #1, junior Alex Arlak (Leonia, NJ) winning at #2 (4-6, 6-3, 6-3), junior Kerry Meath (St. Paul, MN) at #4 (6-2, 7-6 (8)) at #4, and freshman Michelle Pautler (Kamuela, HI) at #5 (6-4, 3-6 (10-8) at #5.

The Bears continue action on Sunday, February 29, when they host Rutgers at 3:00 p.m.
