Junior Michelle Pautler adds her versatile athletic ability and confidence to a strong upper class for the Brown Bears. Although illness kept her out of much of the 2005 spring season, Michelle bounced back during Ivy competition and helped clinch a key win over Yale. Playing mostly with Amanda Saiontz in doubles, the tandem anchored the #2 position, where they posted a 9-10 record. In juniors, she was ranked #2 in Hawaii in 16s and 18s, and competed on the Hawaii Pacific Fed Cup team prior to her senior year in high school. She has made excellent strides with her serve and net game, and will be a force for Brown tennis this spring.
Getting to know Michelle Pautler:
Few people know that I: Would pretty much date anyone who wore Agua di Gio cologne
The one thing I miss about living at home is: Ono Kine Grindz
When I'm not playing tennis I'm: Engaging in full contact origami while contemplating the jellyfish.
