Junior Daisy Ames carries her tireless work ethic and tenacity into another year with the Brown Bears. 2005 saw her competing as high as #2 singles, where she helped seal victories over such schools as Cornell, Virginia Tech, and Santa Barbara. Daisy notched her first win over a nationally ranked player this past fall, when she defeated Yulia Rivelis of Penn at the ITA Regional Tournament held at Army. In juniors, she was ranked as high as #4 in the Eastern Section in the 18s, and was the recipient of a 16s Zone Team Championships Sportsmanship Award. She continues to compete through the summer in the ITA Summer Circuit, and is a player to watch for years to come.
